Parish Councillors are hereby summoned to a meeting of Neasham Parish Council on Tuesday 4 February 2025, 6:30PM, in Neasham Reading Room to transact the business listed in the agenda below.
Members of the public are entitled to attend Parish Council Meetings as a non-participating attendee (unless confidential matters are under discussion) but may speak only at the invitation of the Chair. Those wishing to speak on any matter during the meeting must give written notice giving brief details to the Clerk or Chair at least two days prior to the meeting.

- Chair’s welcome and apologies for absence.
- Declarations of interest in items on the agenda.
- Approval of the minutes of the ordinary meeting held on 3 December 2024, as previously circulated.
- Welcome to C Bayles as new member of the Parish Council and the signing of Acceptance of Office.
- Filling of additional vacancy on Parish Council following Darlington BC confirmation that that this can now be filled by co-option.
- PACT Meeting.
Feedback on the meetings held on 5/12/24 and 15/01/25. Reminder that the next two meetings are to be held 27/02/25 (Middleton St George) and 27/03/25 (Neasham RR) and it would be useful if Neasham PC could be represented. - Roads and Footpaths.
- Re-instating road markings along the road from Dinsdale Park junction to Middleton St George.
- Removal of vegetation overgrowing flood bank footpath.
- Request to Darlington BC for a dog waste bin to be located in the opposite verge near the Low Dinsdale church turning circle.
- Environment Agency Matters.
Mole activity in the embankment - Village Green.
- Preparation works to garden areas.
- Remedial work to Low Dinsdale notice board
- K Sandick to be contact named on both the floatation device and defibrillator.

None. - 24/01256/FUL Demolition of existing outbuildings to facilitate erection of single storey extension to north elevation at Low Neasham Springs Farm, Neasham Road, DL2 1QN. (No notification received as property is in Hurworth Parish, but members may wish to comment individually).

- The requested precept will be paid into the Neasham PC account in April 2025.

- Unfortunately, due to his illness, the Vice Chair has been unable to fulfil his intentions to boost the Neasham PC postings on Facebook. We wish him well and look forward to seeing him take up his duties when he is fully recovered.
